THE DETAILS

Our client’s vision was to have an owner-occupied residence with two additional apartments that provided opportunities for families to expand and contract through the generations. The three-story building design featured a loft with a raised roof area that was set back from the facade to minimize the impact on the streetscape. Adhering to the neighborhood’s design overlay guidelines, this project also met the intent of the Richmond master plan to provide a variety of housing.
