The Afton Apartments is a 4-story, 150 unit low-income housing tax credit development in Richmond’s Southside. Situated on a previously undeveloped site, the building surrounds a splayed courtyard to flood the apartments with natural light and fresh air. The northern wing’s scale complements the adjacent Bellemeade neighborhood. The project will provide much needed high-quality affordable housing in Richmond.
